SHGS Newsletter

Notes and News
Dear SHGS Families,
I pray this newsletter finds you and your family well. I hope each of you had a wonderful weekend.
For those that have already registered for next year, I thank you for your commitment to Catholic education and to Sacred Heart Grade School. If you have not already done so, please register your children for the upcoming 2020-21 school year. Take advantage of our registration incentive rate, which allows you to save $100 on the registration fee for each child if you complete your registration by May 31st.
As you know, our school building will remain closed and we will continue remote learning through June. If you need to borrow a Chromebook for your SHGS child, please email me at tstrub@shgsyonkers.org to arrange a pickup at school.
Please join us in honoring our graduate class with daily Twitter Spotlights. You may access our Twitter feed via the bottom of this Newsletter or via our school website.
We are planning Wacky Wednesdays in May, please encourage your child/family to participate (see the schedule below). Please be sure to send us your photos.
We will have no remote instruction on Friday, May 22 - Tuesday, May 26 for the Memorial Day weekend.
I know it is very disappointing to not have our graduating/moving up days in person. However, the teachers and I have been planning various ways to continue our traditions virtually. We will update you as we confirm our plans.
Thank you for your continued support. We miss your children, our staff, and our school community. Stay safe and stay healthy. Please reach out to me with any questions.
Warm Regards,
Tracy Strub
