Killer Cigarette & Deadly Marijuana
How It Affects You
What Makes A Cigarette Taste So "Good"?
There are so many poisons in a cigarette! Bet you can't even guess how much or even what is in one cigarette. There is:
- Acetone: removes nail polish
- Ammonia: household cleaner
- Arsenic: used in rat poisons and in bullets
- Butane: gas; used in lighter fluid
- Carbon Monoxide: poisonous gas
- Cadmium: used in batteries
- Cresol: used in making bombs
- Cyanide: deadly poison; used in making chemical weapons
- DDT: a banned insecticide
- Lead: heavy metal; used to make plumbing and other pipes; poisonous in high doses
- Formaldehyde: used to preserve dead bodies
- Polonium: radioactive; very deadly
- Vinyl Chloride: used in making PVC pipes; known to cause cancer
Illegal & Legal Marijuana
Now to marijuana, also known as weed. You may not think there is no real difference between illegal and legal marijuana but illegal marijuana has deadly chemicals used to speed up its growth. As for medicinal marijuana, it is grown in a medical facility and grown naturally. If you ever get prescribed marijuana by a doctor, it is only to relieve your pain and not for recreational use.
Not only do you put you life in danger but you waste your money on drugs. Every time you go for a smoke, its just like burning a dollar bill. An average pack of cigarettes is about $9.00. Imagine how much you spend in a month! Instead of wasting your money on smoking killer poisons, you could be enjoying life. Especially if you have a family. All you pay for when you get a pack of cigarettes is cancer. Why rush to die when you could do so much more and spend your money on the more important and fun things in life.
Pollution Cigarette Institution
Think of all the smokers you see throw their cigarettes out their car window or on the ground or even try to hide them in sand. All of that takes a big part in pollution. It takes along time for one cigarette to decompose. If your an animal lover, you'd be upset to hear that some animals actually do eat the cigarettes and mistake it for a treat. Since there are a lot of smokers, pollution of cigarettes is high and animals dying is a problem.
The Effects Of Mijuana & Cigarettes On Your Body
Your probably got the whole speech of what doing drugs does to your body by your parents. If you didn't listen to them, you made a mistake. Smoking and getting high with your friends may be cool for you at that moment, but I bet you won't say that in a year or two. Marijuana has more carcinogens (chemicals that cause cancer) than cigarettes and it kills brain cells. The most commonly known poison known to cause cancer, is cigarettes. There is more than one kind of cancer and cancer isn't always cured from a patient. The worst part of all this, people know but they still choose drugs over life.
What You Could Do Other Than Drugs
There is so much more to life than just getting high or smoking. There is not one good thing that comes out of smoking. To all of the drug addicts out there, drugs are their hobby. You can find better hobbies that don't involve you to harm your body. Get involved with your community, start a club, join a sport. Don't think you're going to be the only person who wants to be drug free, there are thousands of other people out there just like you. Look online and you'll find a bunch of websites of being drug free. Stay above the influence and do positive things with your life. Maybe you can make change and motivate others to stay drug free too. Who knows, you may even save a few lives.
