Snapshots from last month!

1st Quarter Benchmarks

November 5 & 6

On November 5 & 6, third grade will be taking their first quarter benchmark exams in both Reading and Math. These exams show teachers, specialists and administration what skills the students have mastered and what needs to be reviewed and practiced. The benchmarks are not graded for students, but we do tell them to do their best so it is an accurate assessment for us to plan instruction.

The benchmark tests will only be on information covered during the first marking period. It is on the computer in an SOL format to get the students more familiar with this before the SOL.
