Media Arts Camp
It's gonna be a sTeAmy summer! Tech + Arts = FUN!
What is Digital Media Arts?
During this sTeAm based summer camp, kids will have an opportunity to unleash their creativity with the fusion of art and technology, otherwise known as Digital Media Arts. Students get to explore a variety of technology tools to create digital artwork, computer animation, photography, video and web design.
Camp Details
When: Monday, July 6 - Thursday, July 9 from 9:00-4:00
Where: Pritchardville Elementary School Computer Lab & Media Center.
Who: Rising 4th - 6th graders - ONLY 20 spaces available.
Cost: $150.00 if pre-registered and paid by June 5th. Checks made payable to Jennifer Deal and sent to the Media Center. $175 for registration after June 5th.
Other Details:
- Parents must provide transportation to and from camp each day.
- Students are required to bring a packed lunch, snacks and drinks each day.
What you'll do:
- explore digital photography and photo editing to transform your photos in creative digital masterpieces.
- use animation software to create talking, animated cartoons.
- learn the movie making process to produce a video (storyboarding, filming, editing, visual and sound effects, uploading/sharing).
- try out basic web design skills to create a web page to display and share digital media art pieces created throughout the week.
