Welcome Back and Welcome to Gifted and Talented for Some Families
Hello Families,
I hope that you all had a wonderful, restful break with your families! I truly enjoyed the time spent with my family and friends (and relaxing and reading a good book or two)! We are back in the swing of things at Cassidy. For families new to Gifted and Talented (we recently added some students), this is your copy of the Gifted and Talented Newsletter. I send them out weekly to keep you updated on what we are working on for the week. If you ever have questions or need to get in touch, my contact information is at the bottom.
Sincerely,
Dr. Angie Madden

Announcements
Primary Talent Pool (Grades K-3):
This week, we welcomed several new students to Primary Talent Pool and they are off to a great start! I will be sending home letters to new families next week explaining the services that your child is receiving. These letters will come home with your child. If your child was already in Primary Talent Pool for the fall, their service plans will remain the same.
Gifted and Talented (Grades 4-5):
If your child was in gifted and talented for reading and/or math, their service plans will remain the same. I am adding groups in the areas of general intellectual ability and the arts to best meet the needs of the students in those areas so I will be sending home letters with your child about those groups next week. In your child's report card, I will also be sending you their Gifted and Talented Progress Report.
