How-To make Bacon Cheeseburgers
I have chosen to do a how-to on bacon cheeseburgers. Everyone loves cheeseburgers and everyone loves bacon! In the story Code Orange Mitty said that he loves cheeseburgers, but I decided to put bacon on them.
This bacon cheeseburger recipe makes 6 burgers. You can make burgers for your whole family.
The ingredients for the burgers are # pounds 80/20 ground beef, 1/3 cup of heavy cream, 6 to 8 dashes hot sauce such as Tobasco, 4 dashes of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon softened butter plus 2 teaspoons, 6 slices of cheddar cheese, 6 slices of bacon half’s, and 6 buns(any kind).
Here are the directions. Place the beef into a medium mixing bowl. Add the cream, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
With clean hands, mix the meat well. Set aside. Next, slice the buns in half and spread each half with some softened butter. Place rolls face down on a skillet over medium heat. Lightly grill the rolls so they’re nice and golden. Let the buns cool on a plate until you need them. Then, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter. Form the beef mixture into 6 patties and place in the skillet, in batches if needed. Allow each to cook about 4 minutes on the first side, flip them and place a slice of cheddar cheese to melt. Finally, when the patties are done in the middle place them on the base on halved buns. Top each with 2 pieces of bacon and top with the other half of the bun.
Code Orange Book Review
Code Orange is not a book that I enjoyed reading. I did not like this book at all. It was basically the way the author wrote the book. Caroline could have put more details about the journey of the disease. Also Caroline could have more details about the characters too.
Caroline B. Cooney is an American author of suspense, romance, horror, and mystery books for young adults. Caroline was born in Fort mill, South Carolina. She has a nomination for Edgar Awards for Best Young Adult award.
The publication date for Code Orange is 2005. The theme of the book is in New York. The book Code Orange only has one award, the National Science Teachers award. The genre of the book is speculative fiction. I think that young adult readers who can really understand the book will like this book. I give Code Orange a two star rating because I think the book was really boring. It could have used more details and more interesting facts. Caroline B. Cooney as other books including “The face on the milk carton”, “What Janie found”, and many more
