Mrs. Kelley's 1st Grade Class Newsletter
Please take a look in your child's Take Home folder this weekend for a couple of important notes. I have included a Valentine list and instructions for kiddos to make a Valentine box at home. Please have them bring it to school by Feb. 9th. You will also find a purple note with a ziplock attached. We will celebrate the 100th Day of School by grouping, counting, and skip counting items. We have several fun things planned for this day! Please return the baggie with items to count by Feb. 3rd. Thank you for your help to make learning fun!
We will have a SHOW AND TELL time this week on Wednesday. Your child may bring one thing to show and tell.
The anti-bacterial wipes are trickling in!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!! We appreciate your help!
We have 2 field trips this year. The Dallas Arboretum and LISDOLA (LISD's Outdoor Learning Center). These dates will come home soon. If you do not already have an approved LISD background check, please visit the following link : LISD Background Check. If you have any questions about the background check, please contact the front office for more information. Background checks usually take up to 3 weeks to process, sometimes longer, so please do not wait if you think you might want to chaperone.
