Thank you!
I love conference time, because I get to reconnect with parents and share all the wonderful things your students have been working on! Thank you to all the parents who have come in for a conference so far, and to all those who I will see in the next week. And of course, the conversation doesn't end with the conference; please continue to email me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you have for supporting your student in the classroom!
Book Fair
Our class will visit the Book Fair on Monday, April 11 at 11:30. See the flyer that came home on Tuesday for information about online ordering, gift certificates, and the full book fair schedule.
Half Days
Parent-Teacher Conferences are taking place this week and next. As a reminder, Wednesday and Thursday will be half days next week.
Calling all poems!
To further our exploration of poetry, we are looking for poems everywhere, even in our own homes! Do you have a favorite poem? Consider sharing it with your child, and if possible, sharing a copy with our classroom. We love to read poetry from all different poets, cultures, countries--we even love to look at poems in different languages!
