Teaching with Tablets or BYOD

MURFREESBORO — Rutherford County Schools will officially launch support for "Bring Your Own Device," commonly known as BYOD, beginning with the second semester for grades 6-12.

This assignment will assist you with the following:

  • Planning a lesson

  • Completing the lesson plan template

  • Planning a lesson on one of the elements of Digital Citizenship and teach to a small group. (No more than 30 minutes; pretend that you would teach the lesson, you do not actually teach the lesson)

  • Planning a lesson utilizing BYOD

  • Possible collaboration-assignment may be done individually or collaboratively-no more than 4 people in group. Two lnks below will assist in collaborating electronically.
