End-of-Year Repeated Information:
1. The summer enrollment is typically transient, which could possibly impact the number of sections that we have at each grade level. Therefore, this year, we will not be placing the name of next year's teacher on the report card. The last thing we would want to do is to make a change and disappoint a child due to a change in the number of sections at a specific grade level.
2. You will receive a Supply List in the final Report Card and it will be posted on our Webpage. You will notice that there will be one Supply List for each grade level. This allows you the most time to plan for purchasing your child's supplies regardless of what teacher your student will have next year.
Feel free to contact our office with any questions or comments.
Here is a projected view of the possible up-in-coming opportunities for students next year:

Safety Updates:
-From the county/state-All masks all the time for adults and students in the building.
-We conducted another evacuation drill this past week.
-We continue to follow Washington County's guidance in conjunction with the Center for Disease Control and Department of Health as we monitor our current practices during this pandemic.
Repeated Important Topics:
Attendance Reminders:
- If your child is absent and they are able to log into the teacher's Google Classroom for the core subject areas, they are eligible to receive attendance credit for the day. Please make arrangements with the classroom homeroom teacher.
- Given the timing of the absent notification (i.e. child is sick that particular day), the teacher may or may not be able to send you the paper activities that support the lessons until a later time as they will be in the middle of instruction or preparing for it.
- If your child is in a situation where remote learning pertains to them, has internet capability, and is not logged onto the teacher's Google Classroom physically at their specified time(s)-they are marked absent.
Remote Learners:
Please have materials picked up and returned upon their due dates to ensure timely feedback.

Repeated General Announcements:
Emergency Activity Lessons/packet GRADES UPK-2: In the event of a brief (24-48 hour) closure, an emergency hard copy packet was sent home with your child at the start of the school year with an attached letter explaining this process. These activities arranged by grade level are now also posted on our MJT Webpage for easy access. You may have received updated materials from the classroom teacher. These activities are only for a 24-48 hour closure. After this duration, we will activate our Chromebook deployment and each child will receive their Closure Class Schedule from their teacher for full online/remote learning. Faculty and Staff will be checking in with you and your child during this time.
GRADE 3: In the event of a brief (24-48 hour) closure, grade 3 will use the full remote schedule that was sent to families by their respective teachers. This is due to students traveling with Chromebooks each day.
In some cases, the re-closure work below has been updated by your child's teacher and you have been notified. Please check the Website.
