Parents,
What a fabulous week! The Red, White, and Blue Veterans Celebration was wonderful. We are honored to celebrate our brave men and women. Thank you for helping us make this special for them. To our Veterans, thank you for your service!
Thank you so much for supporting our school with the Run for the Heights Boosterthon Fun Run! Your contribution means so much to our school. We hope your children are ready to run on Monday!!!! Our fundraiser helps fund field trips, author visits, award assembly speakers, instructional materials, and more. Thank you!
I wanted to notify you of my expected absences. I will be out of the office and away from my email from Saturday, November 16th - Sunday, Dec. 2nd . My youngest daughter is having surgery Monday, November 18th and we will be out the entire week. We have backed her surgery up to the Thanksgiving Break since her surgery is a four-week recovery. I always attempt to respond to my messages within a 24 hour period of time, so it is important to me that I make you aware of my absence. While I will be away, your concerns are still important to me and I do not want you to have to wait. If there is a concern, please know Mrs. Amber Leon, Assistant Principal, will be your contact for administration during this time, aleon@neisd.net. Our students and staff are in great hands with our administration team. Your child’s teacher continues to be the first contact to support the school to home communication. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need assistance, 210-407-8205.
Thank you for your understanding!
Proud Principal,
Tara Bailey

Please see the NEEF letter below for more information and the registration link to attend the gala!
Ideas that get the most bids—
-Travel baskets (fishing, hunting, skiing or beach trip…donated by a parent who owns)
-Items that are specific to your campus (past examples: tiered garden beds, fire pits or home goods created by students)
-Fiesta/San Antonio theme basket
-Night on the town in SA (gift cards to area attractions---even one gift card can be combined with others to make a great item).
