The Middle Ages
By May, 1966, Jimi was having troubles with the small places. But Linda Richards (the girlfriend of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards) noticed Jimi play, and after, she asked if he wanted to get a drink which he did. They became pretty good friends while they were talking. Linda showed Jimi off to Keith but the manager of the Rolling Stones said he had no musical potential.
