It's a bundle of joy!!!

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Hawthorne for bringing this adorable baby to the world. Mrs. Hawthorne worked all the way up to November 15th, and delivered her son seven days later. We wish her the best recovery and bonding time with her newborn.

Scholars surprise Mrs. Sasser with a signed poster from scholars and faculty members.

It was such a delight to receive a poster from scholars showing their appreciation to their principal. Staff members signed the poster as well. It was so special and heart felt that it is currently hung on the wall in Mrs. Sasser's office.

Head Coach, Coach Jackson and Assistant Coach, Coach Robertson grabs the victory with a close win 34-32.

We came, we saw, we conquered!

Jacquet Staff members come out and support our boys basketball team.

Assistant Principal Ms. Carr, staff members, Ms. White and Ms. Watkins watched an exciting 8th grade boys basketball game. Although we were defeated, the Wildcats played a hard fought game and we are proud of them.

We want to hear from you!!

Our 8th grade team leader Mrs. Macklin and 7th grade team leader Ms. Flagler created these wonderful comment boxes for teacher and faculty input. Because we value all of our team members at Jacquet, an anonymous suggestion box levels the playing field and creates a safe space for all employees to share their ideas. Giving employees a safe, anonymous tool to share new ideas can both assist in our goals and help people feel valued and invested in our campus. One will be placed in the PLC copy room (2nd floor)and the other will be located in the teacher's lounge (1st floor). "We Are One"!

Stay Safe

  • Wear cloth face coverings, at a minimum, at all times when around coworkers or the general public.
  • Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When soap and running water are not immediately available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol as active ingredients and rub hands together until they are dry. Always wash hands that are visibly soiled.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Practice good respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes or coughing/sneezing into your elbow/upper sleeve.
  • Avoid close contact (within 6 feet for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with people who are visibly sick and practice physical distancing with coworkers and the public.
  • Stay home if sick.
  • Recognize personal risk factors. According to the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),, certain people, including older adults and those with underlying conditions such as heart or lung disease, chronic kidney disease requiring dialysis, liver disease, diabetes, immune deficiencies, or obesity, are at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19
