š °ļø| š ±ļø Schedule Information

At-home Learning Expectations and Tips:
Students will need to complete all assignments for their three at-home days by Sunday night at 11:59 PM.
Students will need to login & work on a regular schedule. They can work ahead, but should not get behind.
Create a schedule for daily, at-home school work that works for your family.
Time on task will equate to about 3.5 hours for elementary and 4.5 hours for secondary.
This will not all be screen time.
Attendance for the three at-home days will be taken based on completed work for those days.
Donāt let a question hold you up! Contact your teacher if you need help.
Teachers will be teaching during the day. They will answer emails after before/after school or on Wednesdays.

šDrop-off Procedures
Enter the campus from Sorghum Mill Road. Follow the road until your car is at the front entrance. Drop-off for students will begin @8:50a.m. School Begins at 9:20a.m.
A staff member will be on duty until 9:15 A.M. to greet students. Students need to be inside the school building by 9:15a.m., so that they are inside the classroom by 9:20 when school starts. Children should exit cars on the right side of the car only and enter the school via the front doors. Please pull all the way forward to the next available numbered sign; this will allow 6-8 cars to unload at once. Please note there is a blind spot as cars come around the corner of the SW pod.
** Parents MUST stay in your car. We will have teachers who will assist your students into the building and to then to their classrooms.
** Please note we are flexiable with this on bad weather days.
NEW** Car Rider Plus Dismissal System

šPick-up Procedures
ā¢ā¢ā¢Parents MUST stay in your cars at all times.ā¢ā¢ā¢
⢠Please enter the campus using the west entrance via Sorghum Mill Road.
⢠Follow the road all the way around so that you drive past the front door. As you enter, a staff member will type your number in a key pad and that number will flash on the classroom smart board in the school. Your students will then exit out the building and to your car.
ā¢We will NOT have Walk-up/pick- up this year.
ā¢We WILL have neighborhood pick-up for Twin Bridges. Students will walk with a teacher for that.
Thank you for your patience with after school pick-up. It is always longer the first few days of school because many families like to come to school and pick up their students. Next week, most will ride buses. We are also learning to operate the Car Rider Plus system and have changed locations and procedures for students who are car riders. After a little practice we will be back down to our normal 15-20 minutes. Thank you again for your wonderful support. We are so grateful to have you as partners.
This year we have a NEW dismissal system called Car-Rider Plus through School SafeID. Each family should have received a 2 visor tags and a number for each of your students to wear on his/her backpack.
If you DID NOT get to pick up your car rider tags on Wednesday, August 19th or receive them on the first day of school. Please contact the front office 405-349-2921

š« School Procedures:
These guidelines are very informative! Please take the time to read.

Mask Guidelines
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has released a clarification on the level of protection provided by face shields (versus the more widely used face masks) with the following warning: āCDC does not recommend use of face shields for normal everyday activities or as a substitute for cloth face coverings.ā
For this reason, students (PK-12) and teachers attending Edmond Public Schools will be required to wear cloth face masks when entering the building and moving through the hallways.
The mask requirement also extends to all school facilities, grounds, and classrooms for teachers and students in grades 1-12. Students will be asked to wear masks as they line up for class, or when entering and exiting the building during arrival and dismissal. From time to time, teachers will also be providing brief mask ābreaksā for students. Students are not required to wear masks on the playgrounds during recess as long as they can practice social distancing. If you havenāt done so already, itās a good idea to practice having your child wear a mask around the house so they become used to it.
Face shields may be appropriate and used sparingly in some situations such as when an elementary teacher or language specialist is delivering instruction from a small table or desk where seeing the face of the student is crucial. Additionally, face shields may be appropriate for special needs students as prescribed in an IEP.
