The World of Westwood Wolves
Choose Your Own Adventure!
May 16-20, 2022
From the principal's office...
Westwood parents-
It was a great spring-that-felt-like-summer week at Westwood! It's been so nice to see the sunshine, but I wasn't expecting July temperatures!
We have a busy last few weeks coming up; we are excited to squeeze in one more fun opportunity for our Westwood school family to "roll out" (see what I did there) next Tuesday for Westwood skate night at Roller City this Tuesday from 6-8. We sent notes home in this past week's Tuesday folder. Tuesday, all students will be tie-dying shirts during their specials time. Our awesome specialty teachers have raised money to buy each student a white shirt and all the supplies; they will have them to put on for field day! Also, we are doing spray paint hair day Tuesday for $1 per color to get our Booster Club fund built back up after Teacher Appreciation week expenses.
We sent home a very important letter in Tuesday folders a few weeks ago regarding early dismissal on Wednesdays next year. If you have not returned the bottom part showing how your student(s) will be going home on Wednesdays when we dismiss at 1:50. As of right now, school will dismiss at 3:10 on every day except for Wednesdays. We are expecting school to continue starting at 7:45. We will let you know if there are any changes.
Kindergarten parents and families are invited to attend our celebration this Friday at 9:00 am in the cafeteria. Parking will be limited, so carpooling and/or walking (if weather allows) would be helpful.
Have a great week!
Love,
Mrs. Crumby (your proud principal)
