Principal's Message
Happy August! I am happy to report that Central School is ready and waiting for our September start and we are all eager to see our students' bright, smiling faces on opening day. I for one can say that August is one of my favorite times of year. The anticipation for the opening of school, the new students I'll get to meet, and the possibilities that exist in beginning the school year, are all factors that make August so exciting! This year, I hope that our return to normalcy will finally be complete, as we bring back old favorites (Theater Week!), and continue to pursue the best outcomes for all of our students. As we move into the final act of summer, I encourage all families to have a conversation about this upcoming school year. What are some of our fears or anxieties? But also, what are our hopes and our goals? Centering our intentions for the new school year will be a key component to the development and achievement of all students. Wishing you and your family a delightful conclusion to a beautiful summer. See you soon!

Research ⚗️
Parental engagement is such an important part of the school community. Between our parents and our school, we split our students' time 50/50. Working together to foster strength, resilience, growth, and good habits, while mitigating doubt, stress, setbacks, and other problems, is a team effort. As we prepare to return this September, consider this article from the U.S. Department of Education on how partnering with your school can be a key leader in student success.
