2019-2020 School Year Gets Under Way Next Week!
Freshman Fun Day, Tablet Training, Student Orientation Schedule
We remind all incoming freshmen to please join us for Freshman Fun Day on campus this Monday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tablet Training follows Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31, for all new and transfer students (Last Names A-L 8:00-11:30 a.m.; Last Names M-Z Noon-3:30 p.m. on both days).
For all students - 2019-2020 Orientation is Thursday, August 1. Juniors and seniors report from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., then freshmen and sophomores report from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Please wear your school uniforms!
Reminder - Summer Assignments!
- Many of your students' summer assignments must be completed immediately when the new school year begins (first day - Aug. 12), so please remind them to stay on track, including incoming freshmen! Students can find their Summer Assignments posted on our school website here.
- It's not too late to join our #SaintsRead Summer Challenge! Requirements and rewards are on the Summer Assignments page.
Tech Talk - Prepare for Orientation; Parent Tech Training
Returning Students should begin gathering their laptop bag and charger to bring to Orientation on Thursday, Aug. 1. Computers cannot be picked up without them. These two items or a receipt for them will serve as the "ticket" to pick up the computer for the 2019-2020 school year. Please pay the office for lost bags ($35) or chargers ($30) before attending orientation.
During new student tablet training, we will have two opportunities for St. Louis Catholic parents to get information on what their children are learning and how they can help them practice before school starts:

Saints Evening of Fellowship and Adoration July 30
St. Louis Catholic students looking for an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with their peers while serving as a role model for others are invited to join us at “Let the Children Come to Me” sponsored by St. Charles Retreat Center on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

We will meet at school at 4:30 p.m., and caravan to Boombox (formally Pops & Rockets) for fellowship and fun before driving to St. Charles Retreat Center. Wear Saints spirit attire (no shorts please!)

Gameday Program Ads Available for Purchase Until Aug. 12
Saints Picture Day is Aug. 7, when official photos will be taken for program ads. Two photographers will be on campus and will provide us with all photos taken that day. Petry Photography will handle all football pictures starting at 4 p.m., and Jill Mahoney of Puckett's Photography will take all other team/club photos for the program. Coaches will be contacting their players with the time to report (the schedule also is listed below) and the required dress code for photos.

St. Louis Catholic students Sophia Tassin, Abigail Fontenot, Madison Brinkman, Mary Dempsey, Caroline Obluda, Emma Faul, Carson Mixon, J.P. Broussard, Luke Ledet, Aaron Orgeron and Joseph Belcher joined Director of Student Life Mia Orgeron on a weeklong COR Expedition to the Wind River area in Wyoming from June 26-July 3.
