It's Crunch Time and We Need Parent Volunteers!

Dress rehearsal week is HERE! That means three things: KIDS NEED TO BE PRACTICING LIKE CRAZY, COSTUMES AND PROPS ARE DUE, and ITS TIME TO SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER!!!
*Dress rehearsal is THIS coming Saturday and students will be expected to know all of their lines, all of the words to the songs and all of the dance moves, so PLEASE make sure that your student is watching ALL of the videos of the scenes that they are in and listening to ALL of their songs without lyrics occasionally. You should be getting tired of hearing at least one of the songs from the play by now…if not, ask your child if they should practice more.
*All Costumes and props need to be turned in AT THE VERY LATEST by rehearsal on WEDNESDAY! We need time to organize all of the costumes in order to have the dress rehearsal run smoothly and efficiently. There are still some items on the signup genius that we could use some help with. If you have any of them, it would be a huge help and would save us and the school time and money. Please take a look and see if you can help out at all! Thank you!!!
*Between the dress rehearsal, the extended practices next week and the performances next week, we need ALL HANDS ON DECK!!! This is when weREALLY need everyone to try to find the time to help as much as possible because it is the ONLY way that the show is going to be a success, and I know that that is what we ALL want!
There is a signup genius for chaperones for next week’s extended rehearsals,

Even if you signed up as being interested on your parent form back in November you have to sign up on this sheet because it details day and time slot assignments.
T-SHIRTS ARE IN!!!. Cast members that ordered a shirt will receive them at rehearsal this Wednesday. Any crew members and remaining shirts will be distributed Thursday and Friday, so that they can be worn on Saturday and moving forward as crew members’ uniforms. Thank you!
WHAT’S UP NEXT
*SATURDAY, MARCH 23rd - MANDATORY FULL CAST from 10-4. Pictures (individuals, if wanted, and a group picture) will be taken place during this rehearsal time. Forms will be available soon. The cast will be wearing their costumes and any crew members should wear their play t-shirt or a PLAIN black shirt. Our group picture is taking place at the end of the day, so please be sure to have your child (this includes ALL stage crew students) at BSES by 3:30! We will be providing a pretzel and a water bottle, but since it is a longer day than last year the kids will actually be taking a lunch break from 1-1:30, so please send your child with a lunch. It is also imperative that your child bring something to do, as there will a lot of down time throughout the day. *Phones are not allowed* Thank you for your cooperation! WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27th - MANDATORY FULL CAST from 3-6 (2 full run throughs of show with costumes, props, lights and sounds); STAGE CREW - please see attached crew schedule for attendance requirements
THURSDAY, MARCH 28th - SCHOOL PERFORMANCE @1:30pm - the daytime performance is for students only and is not attended by parents; however we do need parent volunteers and CREW, so please check attached form for schedule! STAGE CREW - please see attached crew schedule for attendance requirements
THURSDAY, MARCH 28th - SHOWTIME 7PM!!!!! CAST CALL @5:30pm; STAGE CREW - please see attached crew schedule for attendance requirements

***If your child has a conflict with ANY of the MANDATORY rehearsals PLEASE let Mr.Cashell or one of the Play moms know immediately!!!

Please review the crew schedule below VERY CAREFULLY if your child is on stage crew!!! Please note the dates in the columns above your child’s name so you can see when you’re child is needed at rehearsals and performances. Things may be a little different than if you were part of the show last year as Mr.Cashell wants more helpers on hand this year. *Please remind your child to bring something quiet to do at rehearsals because there is extra downtime for the students. The students who are on stage need to be able to concentrate and hear directions from Mr.Cashell. We only have a limited amount of time to work together after school and we all want to make sure that it goes smoothly.
