Principal Update

Dear Parents,

We really appreciate all of you that use the carline both in the morning and in the afternoon. The side street that leads to TECC-East is not meant for drop-off in the mornings. There have been too many close calls with cars trying to u-turn and students getting out of the cars on the traffic side and all of that impacts the traffic to get to TECC-East. I am not able to stand out there each morning to monitor the side road because we have many students inside the building that we must supervise. We open the doors at 7:45 to help families that need to get to work on time and we thank you for following the safety procedures that we have in place.

We also really need you to use the carline in the afternoon. Those that park and cross the street to get their child are slowing everyone down. My goal is to get your children home safely and my teachers off duty so that they can resume tutoring, grading, lesson planning, and contacting parents.

Keeping a school of 1100 students running efficiently and safely takes ALL of us and we are grateful for your partnership!

Please let us know if you need anything!

Tina Krol
