NMS Book Challenge
2019-2020
What is the NMS Book Challenge?
Each year NMS students are encouraged to read books from a list of selected titles for our Book Challenge. The Book Challenge selections represent a wide-range of well reviewed titles that encompass a variety of genres. Students may participate by reading at least ten books on our list. Eight of these titles must come from the Book Challenge list, and the remaining two may be a middle grade book of their choice. Upon completion of a book, students should fill out a Book Challenge Tracker Form which will log their progress. Please note that students are allowed to substitute alternative middle grade titles by any author on this list.
Anyone who reads ten or more titles will be invited to participate in an end of the year celebration in June!
Sixteen of our Book Challenge titles are part of a nation-wide March Book Madness tournament. Brackets will be announced over the winter, and students will be able to cast votes for their favorite titles. For more information, please visit; http://marchbookmadness.weebly.com/
All titles for the challenge are listed below. To read a professional review of the book, click on the link underneath the image. Titles that are available as eBooks and eAudiobooks are noted, below each review, as are the MBM titles.
