College
Introducing **NEW** Full-Time College Coordinator
My name is Jeffrey McGee and I was born and raised in NE Portland. As a youth I attended Meek elementary, Ockley Green Middle School, and Jefferson High School before leaving to pursue higher education at Fresno State University.
The highlight of my college career was the year I spent at Shaw University, the 2nd oldest HBCU in the south. I returned to Portland in 2005 with my BA in Public Relations and a passion to serve my community. My career at PPS began in 2010, since then I have worked at Franklin, Roosevelt, and most recently at Reconnection Services. Working with “At Promise” youth-of-color gives me the fulfillment of teaching and learning from next generation of leaders. I look forward to becoming a part of the McDaniel community and will strive to serve all students and families through an equity lens.
Students & families can connect with Mr. McGee through email jmcgee1@pps.net or call 503-522-6177.
