Parent survey for UHS
The Urbandale Community School District is on a continuous journey to make our schools the best places for students to learn, staff to work, and parents to send their children for a good education. In this effort, we appreciate your support. It is important to gather feedback from you to celebrate successes and identify areas for growth. Please take a few minutes and complete this Parent Satisfaction Survey to help provide this feedback.
Once the survey is complete, the results will be analyzed by an outside organization. The data from the survey will be sent to each school and the Superintendent. Then, the results of the survey will be shared with parents and the community.
The survey can be accessed online at this link: UCSD Parent Satisfaction Survey. The link offers the survey in English, Spanish, and Bosnian.
Thank you in advance for your time and feedback.

LaMetta Wynn speaks with UHS students as part of guest speaker series
We are excited to have two more guest speakers for African American History Month over the next two weeks in our UHS Library Media Center over the lunch period. Students can visit and learn about their lives: Mike Sadler on February 22nd and Jam Duany on February 28th.
Students interested in being a part of these events should stop by to sign up with our librarian, Ms. Watson.
Mike Sadler is not only a leader in the Des Moines business community but is also a resident of Urbandale, most recently running for city council last fall. Jam Duany serves as an African translator for the Urbandale Schools. Prior to this role, Mrs. Duany also worked for the United Nations.
