Eagle Creek Food Drive: February 16th-26th
Following a record setting food drive in 2014-15, the Student Council is excited to partner with the “Good to Go Kids” program this year as the recipients of this year’s campaign.
The “Good to Go Kids” program was founded in 2012 by long-time school board member Mary Romansky. This program directly benefits the students and families of Shakopee Schools. Food is collected, packed by school volunteers, and distributed to students to take home on Fridays. “Good to Go Kids” currently supports 3 elementary buildings, the Southwest Metro Cooperative, and secondary students (as needed). We are optimistic that the remaining elementary buildings will be supported in the near future.
Our food drive will be focused on the items that are most in need. Please consider making a contribution of the items listed below.
- Pasta Sides/Rice Sides
- Soup (can or boxed)
- Powdered Milk
- Canned chicken
- Peanut Butter / Jelly
- Granola Bars
