Women's Rights are Discriminated
This is how discrimination ended up affecting and shaping America in the past
In the 1900's black people were discriminated in Canada and in the U.S. The first black person to reach Canada was named Mathieu de Costa he arrived there in 1608. Racsim became a big problem after that. The first slave they ever had in Canada was named Oliver Le Jeune he was captured in 1628 at the age of 6 and brought to Canada to work for a white family. This is only and example of how salves were captured and brought around the world regardless of their age.
Examples of discrimination in America currently
People are made fun of because of their sexuality and their skin color. But now more than ever people are being discriminated because of their sexuality. People that are bisexual, gay, lesbians, or trans all took a survey and 10% of 662 lesbian, gay and bisexual workers that where surveyed were fired because of their sexual preference. 26% of 6,450 people that were transgender were fired from their jobs. People that are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender have been fired from their jobs in the last 5 years because of their sexuality.
Australian society generally regards heterosexuality. It is the most acceptable sexual orientation, which means that gay men, lesbians and bisexual people may be discriminated against. There is no gender identity protection in 33 of the 50 states employees can be fired for being transgender. People were asked across Europe if they felt like they have experienced discrimination or harassment because of their sexuality. 47% of those people said yes they have experienced discrimination or harassment because of their sexuality.
Examples of discrimination in the world currently
In Canada a mosque was set on fire on Saturday the day after the Paris attack. A rally was set up in Oregon by anti-Muslim protesters outside the Portland Rizwan Mosque. One of the protesters outside had a shirt on that said "Proud to be infidel. Islam is a LIE." In Florida the Islamic Center of St. Petersburg received a bomb threat over voicemail. The caller said (direct quote from website) “We are tired of your [expletive] and I [expletive] personally have a militia that is going to come down to your Islamic Society of Pinellas County and firebomb you and shoot whoever is there in the head,” is what the caller said. This is all according to News 13.
Also in France while politicians stressed out about national unity local news reported several mosques, kebab restaurants and halal butcher shops where vandalized with hate messages. Demonstrators carried around a banner that read: "Expel the Islamists." Abu Musab al-Suri was an influential jihadi thinker. Wall street called him “the new mastermind of jihad.”

Major events in womens rights in America
Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton fought for womens rights in the early 1800's and until they died in the 1900's. In the 1860's a law was passed that said married women could sell and buy property. This took a lot of intensive campaigning. After one state passed it many other states began to pass it. During Anthony and Stanton's time they saw many women getting a high school and collage education. They also noticed many women starting to get jobs. Even after all of this they ha notable leaders like Alice Paul, Carrie Chapman Catt, and Harriot Stanton Blatch which is the daughter of Elizabeth Cady Stanton who would help people realize the ultimate goal to give the women the right to vote. The fight was very long and bitter and it required much strategy. Finally in the 1920's the 19th Amendment was passed granting the women a right to vote.
Women being treated differently than men
If men and women go into the job men will be payed more for that job than women. This is because women are seen as incapable of what men are supposedly capable of. Men have always been treated as dominant and women have always been treated with less power. Since the 1900's women have become more dominant but not totally. They still get treated lower than men do. Some people/ men still think that women should not go to work they should stay home and do the cooking, cleaning, and take care of the children. The truth is that most women get farther in schooling than men do and have been starting to get jobs as good as men or even better than men. These differences should not still exist everyone should be treated equal because they are.
