Glover Gazette
December 2, 2022
Hi Glover Families,
We know that the connection between home and school is important and enjoy partnering with you to support your child. Coming up on December 8th and the 15th, you will have the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher for conferences. If you have not done so already, I would encourage you to sign up for a meeting. This is a nice opportunity to hear about your child's day and academic progress. This year you will receive a standards based report card which explains how your child is progressing towards meeting Massachusetts State Learning Standards. The video below from Nan Murphy, Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning gives an overview of Standards Based Report Cards. Your child's report card will be available in Aspen on Wednesday, December 7. Teachers will also share information about your child's performance on the iReady assessment. Included in this issue is i-Ready parent information to help you understand this report. Teachers will review this with you at conferences.
We look forward to seeing you over the next couple of weeks.
Best,
Hope Doran
