Describe the steps you would use and then solve for the number of students for which both companies will cost the same amount. Yes, as you can see my charts above there ARE some companies that have the same price as another company. For 10 people it cost $120 for Burger Bonanza and Get Stacked!!! And for 15 people it cost $170 for Burger Bonanza and Pizza Palace. And lastly, for 20 people it cost $210 for Get Stacked and Pizza palace.

If you only have a budget of $1000 for food, how many people, maximum, would you be able to have at the 7th Grade Blowout? Can you have a decimal or fraction as part of your answer? Why or why not? With a budget of $1000 you can have up to 118 people (Pizza Palace), but you can not have decimals/fractions because you cant have part of a person!
