Guy’s Night Committee Members Needed
Attention current 5th grade parents – we are looking for parents to serve on a Guy’s Night committee. Guy’s Night is a father/son evening of bonding and learning about physical development, personal care, and other issues surrounding young adulthood. This program is for 6th grade boys and a male parent/guardian only.
Committee members can be fathers or mothers who will organize the fall event, which, in the past, has included dinner, decorations, hiring an IUSD-approved speaker, arranging for an MC for the evening, coordinating a trivia game and prizes, and a photo booth. Despite past traditional activities, the committee is free to organize the event however it chooses with the use of the a PTA-provided budget and donations the committee members will seek out.
If you would like to take part in the committee, please email jodielshoffman@gmail.com BY FRIDAY, MAY 12, who will arrange for a time for the group to meet prior to Memorial Day Weekend.Thank you!

Help future 6th graders with their Outdoor Ed Experience!
Has your 6th grader outgrown her/his winter/ski coat?
Donate it to the Westpark PTA!
Our PTA is offering to maintain a "Coat Closet" for donated Outdoor Ed-appropriate coats in good condition. If your 6th grade student has a winter coat that will no longer fit, please consider donating it to the Westpark Coat Closet.
We'd like to continue this tradition annually so all future 6th graders are well prepared for the weather during their stay at the Pali Institute.
Please drop your coat donation off at the PTA desk anytime before the end of the school year.
THANK YOU! And good luck in middle school!
Don't forget about minimum day on Thurs. 5/25 and no school on Friday 5/26!
