OUR MS-1's in SERVICE WITH "ACCESS SURF"
Every year, first-year students at JABSOM participate in a service project of their choice. This year, the MS1s (Class of 2022) volunteered with AccesSurf, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with disabilities through accessible beach and water programs. Rain or shine--and last Saturday there was plenty of rain-- they are able to help make a day at the beach a special day for all of the participants. The event took place on Feb. 2, 2019 at White Plains Beach in Ewa Beach, Hawaiʻi. Photos courtesy of Jester Galiza, MD 2022 Class President.
