We Survived Grandparents Week
I'm Beat
Wow, What a week. For the record, Humana Vitality loves me this week. All the people who were in challenges with me do not. :-)
It was a great week to see so many family members at Audubon. The smiles and excitement from kids is the reason why this exhausting/crazy week is totally worth it. A big Thank you to everyone for your role in Grandparents week. Whether you adjusted your schedule, took on additional classes, or helped with the chaos; Thank you for investing in our students and families.

When the Going gets Tough, The Tough Get Going
Research has identified Perseverance and Passion as the 2 key qualities that ensure success in Green Beret training, College completion, and success in business. So how is it that these 2 qualifiers are so important? Why is it that Perseverance and Passion are more accurately indicate success better than academic achievement, socio-economic status, or physical attributes? Using grit is a mindset that allows us to see challenges as opportunities to learn and grow.
Audubon is a "Gritty" place because of the people that are here. Last year as we endured 123,690,102 changes, you all accepted the challenges and met them head on. I'm proud of all of you. Your hard work, passion, and perseverance shows each and every day. Our students benefit from your Grit and they are so fortunate to have you.
