ESU 13 SPED Weekly Message

Inspiration for the Week
This is one of my all-time favorite TED Talks. You might have watched it before, but it is worth another view, I promise! Rita has a great message, and I hope you are inspired by her as well. She reminds us that every day, we have the opportunity to inspire others through our work in schools and with children. Thank you for being champions for children.

Register for Unit Improvement Day!
The Unit Improvement Steering Committee is pleased to announce our October 17th All Staff In-service, which will be held at the Harms Center from 9:00 – 3:00. We were able to implement many of your suggestions into the day and have lined up a variety of speakers - thank you for your input. There will be optional blood screenings from 7:00 – 8:50, a general session for all staff at 9:00, and three breakout sessions at 10:30, 12:45, and 2:00. Please find attached a schedule of the day with descriptions of each session and instructions on how to register for the breakout sessions. Please register by October 3 so we can plan room locations according to the number of staff attending each session. Finally, we will be taking an all staff photo, so please wear your ESU 13 shirts. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing everyone October 17!
