A Message from Roynon's Principal

Roynon Families,

It has been a busy time for our Roynon Raccoon community. We successfully completed the Great Kindness Challenge. In addition, we celebrated the completion of our Outdoor Library Project and honored our librarian of 21 years, Mrs. Plumley, with the help of our Roynon Beautification Committee. We also hosted Take Your Child to Library Day in the Roynon Library. PTA welcomed over 300 people to our Sweetheart Dance and celebrated Founder's Day on Thursday, February 22nd.

Looking ahead, we are celebrating Read Across America Week this week. Parent Conferences will be held on March 6, 7, and 8 for those students not currently meeting grade level standards and by parent request. These three days are MINIMUM DAYS. Second trimester report cards will be sent home on Thursday, March 8. March 9 is a Student Free Day, as elementary teachers will be participating in a staff development day. In addition, there will be no school during Spring Break, April 1 - 5.

Information was sent home last week regarding our new annual spring fundraiser, The Roynon Raccoon Run. PTA is replacing our previous spring fundraiser, Casino Night, with this event. Our school goal is $50,000. We know that with your support, we can reach this goal. Please take time to look at the large envelope that was sent home with your child this past week. More information can also be found below.

Thank you for your ongoing support. Together, we can ensure that every child at Roynon is successful.

With gratitude,

Tammi DiGrazia

Roynon Principal
