A message from our Principal

Hello McKay Community,

This week we are celebrating our seniors and all their accomplishments. Please be looking for information on various schoolwide and department awards presentations throughout the week. We are also excited to be able to have all our seniors at our Senior Field Day and Social event on the afternoon of Friday, June 4th. Food and dessert will be provided by Don Bigote’s. Senior swag will be provided to all seniors who attend. We hope to see all our seniors there!

Friday, June 4th is officially a SENIOR CELEBRATION DAY!

  • The general idea is to start with kind of a Senior Field Day, then transition into a Senior Picnic in the stadium with some recognitions & awards being announced during that time. For this to be successful, though, we have to know if you would be interested in participating. Please fill out this survey:

IN-PERSON Saturday School on June 5th. student, interests in attendance before we go crazy planning an event very few may actually attend (similar to the first two Saturday Schools this year). Once we know your level of interest we will plan and inform you accordingly.

Attention McKay Students and Parents!

ALL Chrome Books will need to be returned to the school for maintenance over the summer break. Seniors, please return your Chrome Books along with any library books and textbooks in the library during the week of June 1-4. All other grades will need to return their Chrome Books, library books, and textbooks during the week of Jun 16-17. Please return all of these items once you no longer need them for class.

  • Graduates will sign up for a specific time slot
  • Graduates may bring up to 10 family members/friends to participate with them
  • Professional Photographer will be available for graduate photos and family photos
  • Diploma pick-up will be on-site

Important information about yearbooks for 2020/2021

All pre-ordered yearbooks for the 2020/2021 school year will be distributed to all students at the earliest August of 2021. McKay will be sending a communication to all students once the yearbooks are available for pick up in our main office. If you have any questions, please contact our bookkeeper at 503-399-3080.
