Junior High Choir
The JH choir teachers would like to thank the many, many, awesome Greene School students who auditioned for JH choir. You will be hearing from us next week about your placement. Remember that we are placing you where we feel that you will be the most successful and we know that you will have a great experience. If you are still interested in participating in the choir at the junior high, it is not too late. Please e-mail Mrs. Stein an email@example.com.
Fine Arts Weekend starts tonight!
Greene Walking Program is back!
The PTO is excited to start the Greene Walking Program back up this spring. The program is a great opportunity for you to get some exercise, burn off some energy during recess, and earn prizes at the same time. The program will be available every Tuesday and Thursday during recess, starting on March 1st.
All you have to do to participate is add your name to the google doc that was included in the email you received about the program.
There is no obligation to walk each week, but that is how we will keep track of the laps you have walked. 7 times around the track is 1 mile. For the first mile you walk, you will receive a sneaker keychain. Different prizes will be given out for each mile after that.
There will be a parent volunteer at recess keeping track of your laps so make sure you check in with him/her after each lap. Simply give them your name each time you pass and start earning prizes!
So grab a few friends, enjoy some fresh air and exercise and have fun!
Greene Walking Program - Parent Volunteers Needed
We are looking for parent volunteers to help with the Walking Program to take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during recess, starting March 1st. Volunteers will help tally laps walked and hand out prizes during 5th and 6th grade recesses. Please see sign up genius below or contact Erica Armstrong firstname.lastname@example.org or Melissa Moeddel email@example.com for more information.

Who-Dey Challenge Thank You!
Thanks to all who donated to the Sycamore Who-Dey Challenge! The District was
thrilled to announce over $23,000 in total was raised. Your gift supported both
Operation Give Back (OGB) and Sycamore Bridges in their efforts of assisting local
families in need.
OGB has proudly served the Sycamore community for 20 years by providing after
school tutoring services for elementary students, food and personal care items through
our Community Food Pantry, as well as the OGB School Supply Giveaway and Holiday
Store events. None of these programs would be possible without the generous support
of donors and volunteers.
If you would like to learn more about OGB, please visit www.ogiveback.org; or follow OGB on Facebook, Instagram @ogiveback and Twitter @ogiveback.
Sycamore Bridges launched in May 2019, advocating for children and families
experiencing temporary crisis. To date, we have provided over $250,000 in goods and
services to our neighbors. Needs are identified through an advocacy program to protect
the identity of our recipients. They are then posted to our website and social media,
where community members can respond to help fill the needs.
