National Catholic Schools Week 2016
What is National Catholic Schools Week?
Visitation LOVES to celebrate CSW! Your student’s teachers are working diligently on fun, faithful and educational activities to do with you and your student(s) during CSW. A calendar of events will be sent home showcasing what you can do help and participate in CSW.
To kick off Catholic Schools Week, VCSA will have a student-led Mass at Visitation Parish on Sunday, January 29 at both the 8 AM and 10 AM Mass followed by an Open House at VCSA. There will be refreshments, tours, STEM Lab demonstrations, and teachers will be on hand to chat with you and show you samples of your student’s work. All of our school’s clubs, activities and Parent Groups will be here to answer any questions and get you going on your service hours. Our annual “Chili Cook-Off,” will also take place in the school cafeteria that day. We encourage you and your family to attend this fun and educational event! We also ask that you spread the word to anyone that might be interested in a Catholic school education. If you love VIS, they will too!
Want to help out? Laura Price would love to hear from you! Many hands make light work and there are plenty of opportunities during CSW 2017! You can contact her directly @ (253) 606-0073 or by emailing her at pricel@visitationschool.net
