45 Student-Athletes Sign To Further Education & Sport At College Level

On Wednesday Howell celebrated 45 student-athletes that will further their education and sport at the college level. The college signings of our 45 Vikings equals 33% of our senior student-athletes involved in a sport at Howell that will be competing at the college level. The national average is just 7.4% These student-athletes have not only excelled in their sport but they also hold a 3.55 cumulative GPA over the course of their high school career. Scholar Bowl Wins Third Straight District Championship

Congratulations to Mr. Wheeler and our Scholar Bowl team on winning their third straight District Championship on Saturday. The Vikings edged out Marquette High School to earn their third straight title. Howell was paced by Ganon Evans who earned the most points on the day among all Class 4 District 6 participants. The Vikings will now take on Washington High School in the State Sectionals on April 24th at Howell. Stay tuned as we share more information on how you can support Scholar Bowl on their state run!.

Talented Cast & Crew Of Spring Musical Cinderella Amazes Audience

This past week our very talented students took to the stage for the spring musical, Cinderella. The production had record crowds to see the very large cast and crew over the course of the three day one. Cinderella highlighted the great voices of many of our students. Girls Track Finishes 4th Out Of 29 At Corey Siebert Invitational

Congratulations to our Girls Track program for finishing 4th out of 29 schools at the always tough Corey Siebert Invitational held at Rockwood Summit. You can view some of the highlights from the rainy day below as well as find the link to all of the results from the meet.


  • Kalescia Thomas took 5th place in the Long Jump
  • Kam Sullivan took 3rd in high jump and Riley Jambois took 4th
  • The Girls 4x800 (May, Hoppe, Comparato, Russom) took 4th
  • The Girls 4x400 (May, Thomas, Gilbert, Brugere) took third
  • Erin Gilbert took 2nd in the 1600m and was third in the 800m
  • Sarah Russom won the 3200m with a HUGE PR of 11:46

Boys Volleyball Raises $1,854 For Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

This past week the boys volleyball program hosted their "1st Annual Spike Out Cancer" game. The game was established to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The director of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society was on hand to speak with fans prior to the game and reinforce the importance of continued support to find a cure. The first year event raised $1,854 to help fight leukemia. Thank you to our boys volleyball program for a great event that helped to support a great cause.

Girls Soccer Ranked 5th In State

Congratulations to the girls soccer program on their strong start to the season. Our Lady Vikings are currently 7-1 on the season and are ranked #5 in the State. In the GAC South these ladies are currently atop the standings as well. Good luck to girls soccer as they complete the back half of their schedule.

Girls Lacrosse Earns Highest Ranking In Program History

The Girls Lacrosse program has moved to 6-1 on the season and has moved to its highest ranking in the programs three year history. Out of 40 girls lacrosse programs in the state our Lady Vikings are currently ranked 14th overall. Congratulations to Coach Ginn and our girls lacrosse players!

Lizzy Payne Finishes 1st In Go St. Louis Marathon

Congratulations to Lizzy Payne for finishing 1st in her division and 23rd out of 405 females that ran in the Go St. Louis Marathon.

The Boys Tennis program continues to have success as they moved to 8-2 on the season this past week. This week they will host the Howell Doubles Tournament. Good luck to our tennis program as they finish the back half of their schedule.
