The humor technique is used to grab the viewers attention with comedy. In my opinion the target audience can not be narrowed down to one group because the comedy that is being used applies to multiple people. Also I feel that is ad isn't nessicarily supposed to have an effect on people. This ad doesn't explain anything about why or why you should not purchase Doritos it is simply their to be funny, therefore this ad is not effective.

In the Adams pet care products commercial the message that is being given is that you should get Adams pet care products because they are better for your animal. The persuasive technique that is being used is called product comparison. This technique basically compares two things where one item is better and then it explains why that item is better. This commercial is primarily targeting pet owners or people who are planing on purchasing a pet. People want to see what's in their animals food before they purchase therefore this ad is very effective.
Purr words
In the words hurt bullying commercial the message that is being given is that bullying g is bad and needs to stop. The persuasive technique that is being used in this commercial is called purr words. Purr words are used to have a positive, or emotional effect to the viewer making them feel a certain way about the topic. Watching the girl getting verbally bullied in the commercial surely has an emotional effect on the viewer. I feel that this is an effective commercial because it grabs the viewers emotions making them not want to bully people.

In the coke rewards commercial the message that is being given is that if you want to be fast and cool like the nascar racers you should drink coke. The persuasive technique that is being used is the reward technique. This technique is used to give the viewer some idea that they will be rewarded if they purchases this product. I feel that this commercial was rage tend towards hicks all around the U.S. Because nobody else cares about nascar. This is effective but it is only directed toward one group of people.

In the brinks home security commercial the message that is being given is that if you don't have home security you could get robbed an no body would know. The persuasive technique that is being used is the security technique. This technique makes the viewer feel or want to feel safe after the have made the purchase, scare tactics can be used. This commercial is mainly directed to home owners who want to keep their family safe. The security method is an effective method because it provides an example of what would happen if you didn't have their security and makes you want to purchase the product.

The persuasive technique that is being used is celebrate endorsement. This is when a celebrate is a part of a commercial. This is probably direct to teen girls all over the nation. This add is effective because girls want to be pretty and Katy perry is pretty.
