Good morning .........
Congratulations to the Seniors on a successful swimming program. I think it makes a real difference when the pool is just down the road. I have heard lots of positive comments from the parents about this change of venue - it also helps that it is Paul Saddler!
Juniors, another week to go. I was at Flippers on Friday and even though there are lots of little boys who don't know how to dress themselves, they managed to pull something on in a reasonable time and get back on the bus. Just a suggestion - make sure the windcheaters are off before going out to play and leave them behind in the classroom with the socks and shoes. Much easier and less to manage.
We have school photo's on Tuesday 12th. you might need to remind your children of this on Friday. The students need to be in full summer uniform - shoes, socks, the lot. For the older students, no lippy or 'inappropriate for school' hair styles. Girls must have long hair tied up/back.
It's newsletter week. There is a folder in 'teachers on server' if you want to add any good news stories from your classroom.

I was asked to clarify the beginning and end time of meetings. I have taken the following out of the Staff Handbook 2013-14 /Professional Responsibility
Meetings: A schedule of meetings is issued at the end of each term for the following term. This is to allow you to make any appointments around these meetings. It is expected that full time staff attend all meetings and part time staff attend on a pro-rata basis. Please be punctual for all meetings.
Staff Meetings 3.45 – 5.00pm usually Wednesday
Professional Learning Team 3.30 – 4.30pm as per meeting schedule
Leadership Team Time negotiated
Consultative As negotiated
Extended staff meetings: These will occasionally be negotiated with staff members and are usually “in lieu”. Extended staff meetings usually cover topics of significant importance and where no other time is available or practical.
