Senior School Pictures - Important
Please note: You are not required to pay for senior photos. The company has provided a code that you can enter for the sitting fee to be waived. See the attached letter for more explanation. Or in checkout, choose the Deluxe package ($25), and then enter code LK7Z for 100% off. Make sure your child brings a second outfit to change into in order to qualify for the Deluxe package. If you have already tried to get a session, you can still log in, change the session and use the code to get the session for free if you would like.
Students will also be having a photo taken during registration days on July 26th and 29th for their ID. This photo will also appear on their transcripts. They do not have to wear anything specific for this photo.
Senior Immunizations
(Para los requisitos de vacunación para personas mayores en español, haga clic aquí.)
Senior year is HERE! Any student who is not properly vaccinated will be excluded from classes. There are some immunizations that must be handled before the start of the 12th grade year. If your senior is not currently scheduled with their physician for these immunizations, please contact them immediately for an appointment. Since 2014, all students have been required to update their vaccinations for grade 12.
Requirements are:
●Hepatitis A (2 doses) now required for grades 4, 6 and 12
●HPV has been added as a recommendation for grades 6-12
●Annual influenza has been added as a recommendation for all ages.
●Meningococcal MCV4 second dose is still a requirement for grade 12.
(Please note: Meningococcal Serogroup B (MenB) has remained a recommendation for grade 12.)
Nurses will be at our back to school days during the summer (dates coming soon) to take and update immunization records for those students who got their shots over the summer. The clinic will also have a vaccine clinic available for students. Please bring your insurance card. (Medicaid students should instead make an appointment with the health department, 317-745-9222.)
Please do not hesitate to contact our clinic staff with any questions or concerns. They can be reached at (317) 852-2258 Ext. 1503 or by emailing relam@brownsburg.k12.in.us or mcarrel@brownsburg.k12.in.us
