Senior School Pictures - Important

Seniors will be having their photos taken for the yearbook as well as their cap/gown photo by Prestige (Lifetouch) at pre-arranged appointment times from Thursday, July 25th through Monday, July 29th. Ladies should wear a black shirt, gentlemen will be wearing a white collared shirt, tie and dark blue or black sports coat. If you are unsure of your appointment time, or need to reschedule, please contact Prestige Portraits at 317-564-2592 or online at This is the only method for seniors to get their photos in the yearbook.

Please note: You are not required to pay for senior photos. The company has provided a code that you can enter for the sitting fee to be waived. See the attached letter for more explanation. Or in checkout, choose the Deluxe package ($25), and then enter code LK7Z for 100% off. Make sure your child brings a second outfit to change into in order to qualify for the Deluxe package. If you have already tried to get a session, you can still log in, change the session and use the code to get the session for free if you would like.

Students will also be having a photo taken during registration days on July 26th and 29th for their ID. This photo will also appear on their transcripts. They do not have to wear anything specific for this photo.

Senior Immunizations

(Para los requisitos de vacunación para personas mayores en español, haga clic aquí.)

Senior year is HERE! Any student who is not properly vaccinated will be excluded from classes. There are some immunizations that must be handled before the start of the 12th grade year. If your senior is not currently scheduled with their physician for these immunizations, please contact them immediately for an appointment. Since 2014, all students have been required to update their vaccinations for grade 12.

Requirements are:

●Hepatitis A (2 doses) now required for grades 4, 6 and 12

●HPV has been added as a recommendation for grades 6-12

●Annual influenza has been added as a recommendation for all ages.

●Meningococcal MCV4 second dose is still a requirement for grade 12.

(Please note: Meningococcal Serogroup B (MenB) has remained a recommendation for grade 12.)

Nurses will be at our back to school days during the summer (dates coming soon) to take and update immunization records for those students who got their shots over the summer. The clinic will also have a vaccine clinic available for students. Please bring your insurance card. (Medicaid students should instead make an appointment with the health department, 317-745-9222.)

Please do not hesitate to contact our clinic staff with any questions or concerns. They can be reached at (317) 852-2258 Ext. 1503 or by emailing or

Laptop Information

Seniors are one-to-one with a device for the school year. Please head to our team page for a webinar that you must watch, as well as forms that need to be filled out and turned in before your student can receive their rental laptop, or have the correct software installed on their personal device. It is imperative that students try their best to come in on Friday, July 26th or Monday, July 29th to registration in order to have their device properly loaded and ready for day one of school.

Student Drivers

Students will need to bring a completed Vehicle Registration Packet in order to purchase a parking permit. The form can be found on the Brownsburg Community School Corporation website ( under the Resources tab. Please print and complete the form.

Lanyard Reminders

Lanyards and IDs should be worn throughout the school day. Our students should be aware that if they borrow a lanyard prior to the 7:50am bell it will not be logged against them. Please mention this to your student, and have them see Ms. Murray whenever they forget their lanyard. To replace a lost lanyard would be $5 ($3 for ID, $2 for lanyard).
