Happy November! We are very excited to welcome back our 4th Grade Teacher Jacqueline Schaeff from maternity leave. Mrs. Schaeff's first day back will be Monday, November 15th. Mrs. Schaeff's students are very excited for her return.

Also, the entire team at Bangor Central would like to thank Mrs. Melinda Elliott for her dedication and hard work substituting for Mrs. Schaeff during her maternity leave. Mrs. Elliott has done an amazing job, and her commitment is greatly appreciated by the entire Bangor Central Family. Thank-You Mrs. Elliott!

No School Days

There will be No School Tuesday, November 2nd. Our team will participate in a Professional Development on this day. This is a great opportunity for our team to collaborate with other educators and learn new teaching strategies.

Also, there will be No School Wednesday, November 24th through Friday, November 26th for Thanksgiving Break. School will resume Monday, November 29th.

#SheCan Club

Our all girls empowerment and career exploration club will meet Wednesday, November 3rd from 3:20pm-4:20pm. Only girls that have signed up should attend. For more information please contact Ms. Wilson at

P/T Conference

P/T Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 11th. Your child's teacher has scheduled a time for you either in-person or virtually. If you have not received your conference time please contact your child's teacher or the office at 989-684-8891. Mrs. Bigelow will connect you to your child's teacher.

Daylight Savings

Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 7th.

Picture Retake Day

Picture Retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, November 16th in the morning only. Please mark your calendar if you would like your child to retake their school pictures.
