What a great week at Titus!

Today we shifted our Titus Pride to Eagles Pride. All around the school you could see Eagles green as we cheer on our Philadelphia team. (Pictures below!)

Students were filled with excitement as many of their lessons incorporated "The Birds" and the spirit song "Fly Eagles Fly" could be heard here and there around Titus. It was a fun day of learning all around.

Mrs. London's 5th grade friends came to visit Mrs. Gillen's PM Kindergarten class this past week for an exciting buddy activity.

Our 5th graders read a book to the class and then worked together on Friend Venn Diagrams - a writing activity to help our young learners understand what makes people similar and different.

Great learning experience for all!

Mrs. Wilson is collecting plastic bottle caps for some exciting QUEST projects. Please send in any extra you may have and ask your student to give directly to Mrs. Wilson.

A gentle reminder for our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders. Please charge laptops each night so that they are ready to be used for learning each morning.

Also, the district issued laptop cases are the best way to project laptops and we encourage all students to use these cases to transport computers to and from home.

Our Titus School Store is open every Wednesday before morning announcements.

The store is located in the cafeteria and is staffed by a responsible group of our sixth graders. Check out the Supply List below to see a list of the items and prices. Happy Shopping!

As we approach the coldest time of the year, please look over the information below regarding outside recess. I will monitor the weather daily and make decisions on what will be best.

Please be sure that your child is dressed to be outdoors and remind him/her that wearing a coat and cold weather gear is important during our cold Winter months.

• Special Education students/parents at 6:30pm in the Tamanend Library
• PEN students/parents at 6:30pm in Tamanend Cafeteria

Our next upcoming event is a Family Fun Night at Sky Zone.

• Friday, Feb 3, 2023, from 3:30-6:30pm
• 145 Liberty Lane, Chalfont
• $2 per jumper will be donated back to Titus HSA
• 90 minute jump: $25 per person
• 120 minute jump: $29 per jumper
• Sky Socks are required ($3). Jumpers can jump past 6:30pm, so long as they arrive before 6:30pm. Please mention Titus upon arrival or bring this flyer with you.

Join us on Thursday, January 26th for a Dine and Donate event to raise money for the Home & School Association. Bring a copy of the flyer into the restaurant or use the fundraiser code for online or MOD app orders. Thanks for your support!

Home & School asked Titus teachers to share with us “A Few of Their Favorite Things” and have compiled their lists into a handy dandy document that you can view HERE. You can see what types of items they could use the most for their classrooms, a list of their favorite things, as well as any dietary restrictions they may have, and what parents/caregivers can do to help them the most.

This list will stay active for the rest of the year, so make sure you check back for updates!
