EMS Friday Focus
March 22, 2019 #25
EMS 2018-2019 Goals
ALL EMS students and staff will feel connected to our school community - safe, respected, seen, heard, and valued.
All EMS students will find meaning in the work they are tasked with.
Weekly Message
Team -
It’s clear from the next steps identified at Wednesday’s circle that the faculty is eager for:
opportunities for circles to have difficult discussions and
time to connect as a faculty and continue to get to know each other.
In the coming weeks we will work to prioritize both of these asks.
In the meantime - below are shared resources from Annie to support us all in our continued work to have difficult conversations.
Active Listening Techniques (1).pdf
Thank you all for continuing to lean in.
And a special shout out to:
Eric and Lindsay for supporting the 6th graders who did not attend the ski trip
Jim Monahan for covering Lindsay’s classes on Friday
In partnership and with gratitude,
Meg
P.S. These are our notes from Wednesday’s circle and an additional resource on trauma that Annie promised to share.
