THE 2019/20 ONE BOOK, ONE SCHOOL- ELEVEN
The 2019-2020 One Book, One School book that students read this summer was Eleven, by Tom Rogers. It is a historical fiction novel about a boy who turns 11 on September 11th. This book as described by Good Reads, "This is a story about bullies and heroes. About tragedy and hope. About enemies with two legs and friends with four, and pesky little sisters and cranky old men, and an unexpected lesson in kindness delivered with a slice of pizza."
FBMS will be rallying around this theme-Stronger Together!
Next Friday, September 13th, we will celebrate our OBOS book with a full-day of interdisciplinary and themed lessons & activities related to the book! It is always a fantastic day!
