School Accountability
Master Agreements
Tip: If you are NOT getting emails from School Pathways about Master Agreements being signed by your families, have no fear, there is a way to check at any time.
Go to Teachers>Compliance>Sign Documents Compliance
On another note: Please keep those Calendar C Master Agreements coming in! Calendar B is closed.
Parent Portal
It’s time to start utilizing our Parent Portal features. We hoped you enjoyed watching the Parent Portal short clip on all the features available for parents. In order for them to start using the Parent Portal, a link, login, and password need to be sent. The SIS Team has been working behind the scenes making sure everything is ready for this distribution. This year we have two ways in rolling out logins/passwords:
TWO WAYS:
1. MANUALLY: Follow the directions on the Parent Portal Logins Handout. To find a complete list of the scope logins go to Section 2.15 . This handout will give directions on how to manually give logins/passwords to your families at any time.
2. *MASS EMAIL: Submit a survey to the Parent Portal Login - Mass Survey and the SIS team will mass email (1 time only) all logins/passwords to your parents. After the one mass email, you will need to manually give logins/password to all additional parents.
*If you already gave your families their logins/passwords manually and decide to utilize the mass email way all previous logins/passwords will change as well.
Household Data Collection
We will have a Parent Portal handout for teachers in the HST handbook soon. A parent video will also be attached which walks through the directions on how to submit a household data collection form.
At the moment we don't have separate directions on collecting household data collection forms and how to check the status. However SAA will be manually downloading them from the parent portal and adding them to the compliance section in the next few weeks.
I Can Statements
Many of you have emailed me looking for support documents and the optional planning guides for your learning period meetings. All resources that I shared in the I CAN videos are located on section 8.3 in the HST Handbook. I have also linked them below for your reference. Additionally, Heidi Hernandez revamped my 1st meeting PPT and made this one found HERE that is super fancy. Feel free to use a PPT for each subsequent meeting, taking out unnecessary items and inserting new topics.
Enrichment
Thanks to our many incredible teachers who reach out to Enrichment with questions, and who take the precious time to comb through their families orders, prior to approving them. We appreciate you!

HQT List
Please be aware we have had some teacher assignment changes. We will be messaging information to you and will be making changes in Pathways for you. Please check out the updated HQT list (HST Handbook 5.1)to ensure you are adding the correct HQT.
Proctoring Update
UC rules require that major assessments (unit tests and finals) in a-g courses be proctored. To meet this requirement, Inspire is asking that each student have an educational partner (parent or learning coach) that will serve as a proctor for Inspire a-g courses. The proctor is simply agreeing to monitor the student while the student is taking major assessments. No special scheduling or reporting to the teacher is required. Please have each of your high school a-g students complete a Proctor Agreement with the proctor of their choice. HSTs should collect the Proctor Agreement and keep a copy in the files for the student. If you have questions about this, please ask your HSSC. (Note: this is a different process than BYU proctoring. Students taking BYU courses will still need to arrange in-person proctoring for those courses)
High school students in Driver's Ed
Teachers please make sure that students enrolled in Driver's Ed (same with Driver's Training) only receive 2.5 credits for the semester. The teacher will need to manually change the credits in Pathways. Please note the 2.5 credits on the IGP as well.
Academic Decathalon is now an A-G Approved Course
Please share this information with your high school students:
Academic Decathlon is now an a-g approved elective course! Students will study a thematic curriculum to prepare for a regional competition put on by Inspire Charter Schools. Top performing students will continue on and represent Inspire at the state competition! We have a spot saved for us at the state competition!
To enroll a student in the course, there are two things the HST needs to do:
Add the course to the students signed MA
Fill out the Academic Decathlon Enrollment Survey
