Updates & Upgrades
By way of upgrades, I am a huge fan of Google Keep and this month Google is introducing the Keep single note widget for Android phones (sorry iPhone people). With this new feature, you can “pin” a note or list to your home screen and edit them in the Keep app with a single tap. Lists enable you to toggle checkboxes directly on the note without having to open the Keep app. Also, your notes and lists will reflect any background colors and reminders present within the Keep app.
On this day around the web
On March 3, 1985, the first domain name, symbolics.com, was registered on the internet. The domain name was registered by Symbolics Computer Corporation, a now-defunct computer manufacturer based in Massachusetts, USA.
This event marked the beginning of the modern internet as we know it today, with domain names providing a way to identify and locate websites and online resources. Since then, the number of domain names on the internet has grown exponentially, with millions of domain names registered every year.
