If you are NOT currently living in the Riverside school boundary, but would like to apply for OPEN ENROLLMENT for your child to attend Kindergarten at Riverside, please follow the directions below.

• Access and print an Open Enrollment form our District Site. Fill it out and submit it directly to the school office as soon as possible.
• Plan to attend the Registration/Screening day at your child’s boundary/home-school. It is very important that you enroll at your boundary school FIRST in case we are not able to accommodate for your child’s open enrollment at Riverside. You will NOT attend Riverside's Registration/Screening on March 3, 2022. We will request records from your child’s boundary/home-school upon acceptance of your child’s open enrollment form.
• Make sure that you attach your child’s birth certificate and immunization records. If your child’s open enrollment is accepted, we will need to have copies of these to complete enrollment. Open enrollment will not be accepted without this paperwork on file.

Here is a detailed document outlining our newest procedures. For those who prefer a simplified version, I am providing some bullet points below.

Regardless of vaccination status we will utilize the following protocols:

• Isolation guidelines: Students and staff who have tested positive must isolate for five days and can return on day six after they have been symptom free for 24 hours. They must continue to mask for the next five days.

• Exposure & Symptomatic: If a student or staff member is exposed to COVID-19 and symptomatic, they need to isolate for 5 days. They can return to work or school and wear a mask for five days, after they are symptom free for 24 hours.

• Quarantine guidelines: Students and staff who have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, regardless of where the person was exposed (for example home, school, work, etc.) and regardless if they are able to isolate at home, can continue to report to work and school as long as they wear a mask for 10 days, and are asymptomatic. In summary, if there is an exposure, if the person is asymptomatic, they can return to school and wear a mask for 10 days.

• Contact tracing only needs to occur in situations where individuals were not wearing a mask (for example, lunch, athletic competition, etc.).

14-15 -- 5th and 6th grade boys practice 3:45-5:15pm

16-17 -- Morning (7:45am) or after school. TBD

18 -- No school/No practice

21 -- No school/No practice

Once it is determined how many teams we have, a permanent practice schedule will be sent home notifying athletes if they will have morning or afternoon practice.
