Message from the Principal

Riverside Friends and Families,

Can you believe Spring is on the horizon? Or that we only have 3 months left in the 19/20 school year? I know I always look forward to this time of year as it one where we see tremendous amounts of growth in our students, both academically and socially/emotionally. With the change in seasons comes many wonderful events, activities, opportunities for learning, as well as future planning.

For example, next week we have Kindergarten Registration, our Scholastic Book Fair, and the district released the 2020/2021 Student Calendar. Additionally, there are a variety of after school activities and programs being offered this Spring. With this in mind, I encourage you to carefully review the details below. I look forward to seeing you around the neighborhood.

Mr. Anderson

Corporate Sponsor Needed!

“Southeast Sings!” is a festival in Southeast Boise celebrating our local public school choir programs. It will feature all the students in SE Boise who are involved in a choir class in the Boise School District. It will be a full day of vocal workshops, performances, and a final concert featuring 400 young singers.

We provide a T-Shirt as part of that event and pizza for lunch.

Most of these choirs have little, to no budget for a festival experience.

Would you be interested in being a corporate sponsor this year? We would put your logo on every festival T-Shirt as well as the Timberline High School programs for the rest of the year. We would also announce/thank our sponsors at the final concert.

We will accept any contributions, but for reference, Timberline choirs sell ad space for $400/quarter page ad in their programs.

Contact Sean Kane ( to support this event this year.
