Welcome Back Students
We are beyond excited to welcome our K-2 students back into the building next week. Below you will find a few details regarding changes to our schedules and protocol as students return to the building.
Lights, Camera, Action
Here's a short video for students explaining a few important back to school procedures. Thank you to the Nimmons Family and Front Runner Films for their help filming and producing this video on very short notice.
In Person Learning Plan
With class numbers reduced for in person learning, we expect to be able to provide intensive instruction on in person days while providing supporting activities for students on their days at home. Please note that student’s day at home may not look like the “virtual learning day” we have become accustomed to but rather more of a time for independent learning.
Timberline Quad has organized our families in two teams, Teams Blue and Silver. You have already been notified which team your family has been assigned. Here are some details regarding schedules and expectations for our kindergarten-2nd grade students.
Monday: Teams Blue and Silver - Virtual Learning. Learning will be similar to what students have been doing so far this year.
Tuesday & Thursday: Team Blue will attend on-site. Team Silver will be doing independent work online. This could include assignments from the teacher, learning websites, and activities that reinforce their learning from on-site days. There may be some times where all students are together, combining our on-site and virtual students. However, these times will be limited.
Wednesday & Friday: Team Silver will attend on-site. Team Blue will be doing independent work online. This could include assignments from the teacher, learning websites, and activities that reinforce their learning from on-site days. There may be some times where all students are together, combining our on-site and virtual students. However, these times will be limited.
