Counselor's Message

It is great seeing how excited students and families are this time of year. Many of us look forward to December all year long, but if your calendar is anything like mine, your to-do list nearly doubles! There are cookies to make, gifts to buy, cards to send, family in town, and holiday parties to attend. All of these aimed at us being joyful and festive. As you celebrate this season, please drive safe, enjoy family, but, if needed, be sure to take time for yourself while enduring the added stress and expectations of this time of year.

Riverside Elementary will be collecting new or gently used sweatshirts November 26th to December 21st. Donations can be placed in the large boxes outside each grade level pod. Students will receive a weekly update for the number of sweatshirts donated per grade. The grade level with the most sweatshirts wins donuts. CLICK HERE for more info!
