On Friday, Oct. 14, every family will receive an email BLAST with a link to a Parent Survey that I am asking you to fill out by Tuesday, Oct. 25. Your feedback from the Parent Survey will be used and included in our school's Self Study which we are writing this year. Working together, we will continue to build our school community and all our programs. AS AN ADDED BONUS.......... Every family that completes the Parent Survey should print out a copy of the last page of the survey and send it to school with your child(ren). When you do that, you can put down two volunteer hours for participating in our survey on your Service Record Card...PLUS, the child(ren) in your family will be given a Free Dress Pass to be used on Friday, Oct. 28!

DATE CHANGE...PICTURE MAKE-UP DAY ~ FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14
Picture make -up day has been CHANGED to this FRIDAY instead of this Thursday.
Parents will receive a personal link tomorrow to view their child's pictures.
Parents may request that their child's picture be retaken if they are not satisfied.
This make-up day is also for students that missed the previous picture day.
Please remember to send your child in full-dress uniform if s/he is having a picture taken.Again, please remember that we will not have a group class picture taken in the spring this year as we did last year. Class composite pictures will be made available, however, later in the year.

Parent involvement is critical for our school programs and operation.Two-parent families must put in 40 hours of service; a single-parent families must put in 20 hours of service.A Service Record Card will go home with the youngest child of each family today. Please keep track of all completed hours and submit the record to your child's teacher on the dates indicated on the record card. Record Cards will be returned back to the family on the Wednesday following the date of recording. Thank You ALL for your generous time and talents in making St. Anne School...simply THE BEST!

When registering with Virtus, please select "St. Anne School" as your affiliation.
If you have completed the Virtus training and a Live Scan in the past 3 years you are "ACTIVE" and DO NOT need to contact the school.
If you are unsure of your status, please log into your account to verify your status.
If you were notified via Virtus that your training has expired, please complete the training to update your status. Any account past due will go "INACTIVE".

5K WALK-A-THON - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21
The walk-a-thon is next week and we have raised nearly $40,000 (and more through MATCH donations)! What a huge accomplishment to have so many St. Anne families and friends participate in this fall event – As Mr. White likes to say, you are all simply the best!
For families who have not yet registered on PledgeStar (pledgestar.com/stanne), it’s not too late - you can do it today or you may write a check to SAPTO, accompanied with your pledge sheet (from the Walk-a-thon info packet). Please be sure to reference 5K and clearly write your child’s name and grade in the memo line to help Abhi Shamarao, Walk-a-thon Accounting Coordinator, to log in your donations. Reminder the minimum fundraising goal for each student is $150 and must be submitted by December 2nd.

PARISH FESTIVAL - OCTOBER 21-23
Keep up the good work selling raffle tickets for Parish Festival! To date, Preschool has sold the most tickets (45 books). If that stands, Preschool will win an ice cream party, and wristbands to the carnival on 10/22/22. The first 100 St. Anne families who sell 5+ raffle ticket books will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card to Andronicos or Little Original Joe’s. The “winning” class and families will be determined by the end of the day on 10/12/22. Free dress passes for students who sold raffle tickets will be passed out the week of the Festival (limit 5/student).
The Parish Festival is a few weeks away, and we still need your help. Get your service hours here: Festival Volunteers. There are still many shifts open on Saturday, 10/22/22, in particular parking attendant, jumpy house, face painting, and Oktoberfest Dinner. The Parish Festival is the only fundraising event for the Parish, so your support is appreciated!
Coming to Movie Night? Reserve a parking spot to see “Paws of Fury, the Legend of Hank” by contacting email@example.com. Suggested donation is $20. Consider pre-ordering food and tickets for the entire Festival here Pre-Order Form. This year’s carnival has a new format. It will take place in the yard and feature some great prizes to be raffled off, including a Nintendo Switch and $50 gift card to Sports Basement! Turn in your carnival tickets to the prize booth to enter one or all the raffle drawings for these great prizes! Carnival raffle winners will be drawn at the end of the carnival and need not be present to win.
After the kids have their fun, dance the night away at the Oktoberfest Dinner, featuring live entertainment by Groove Ride Band. Purchase Oktoberfest Dinner Tickets by 10/14/22, and you’ll receive 2 drinks on the house (2 drinks/person/ticket)!
