The karankwas ate berries, plant roots,fish,deer,clams, and oysters they live along the gulf coast of Texas . Men wore breach clothes and women wore grass skirts. they lived in Small huts made of Spaling tree trunks or limbs bent over and tied together.The weapons they used were long bows.There tools were knives,scarpers ,arrows , spears , and baskets.There tradition they would do at some rituals would be that the men would drink a drink called the black drink only men could drink it .There territory is from the west end of Galveston Island down the coast to where Corpus Christie is today.A interesting fact is to get over an river or lake they used a dugout canoe which was a tree that was hollowed out in the middle it was there watercraft .
