Credit Recovery

Hello Weld RE-4 high school families,

The district is offering three, quarter-long, remote opportunities for high school students in need of credit recovery during the 2020-2021 school year. Please note that all high school students are receiving this email. Please check with your school counselor to see if this is a need for your student.

The Credit Recovery Program uses the PLATO online learning platform by Edmentum which will allow students to work on their credit recovery in their free time.

Registration for our first session is from October 1st - October 14th.
Registration Link: Weld RE-4 Credit Recovery Registration Form: 2020-2021 School Year

Courses will run from October 19th - December 4th.

For more information about the program:

Our remote format allows our district to provide courses at the same discounted rate seen during our Summer 2020 session. Fees for this program are:

  • Registration, administrative costs, course setup, & 1 PLATO Course = $100

  • Additional PLATO Courses (up to four per session) = $50 each

ALL Fees are due by October 16th.
**Please note that courses will not be opened for students to work until fees have been paid through the convenience of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

This year, we are allowing students one attempt in each course to test-out of the coursework by receiving a 60% or above on the course Final Exam. You can request this option during registration.
Shortly After Completing Registration:

  • You and your student will receive an email from our PLATO Credit Recovery team

  • Registration & course fees will be added to your student’s Infinite Campus account

If you have further questions please: Check the PLATO Credit Recovery Website, Visit the Commonly Asked Questions link, visit with your school counselor, or email

AP Test Registration

Dear AP Parent/Guardian,

We want to begin by thanking you for all that you do for your student each and every day as our district traverses COVID-19. As we continue to face uncertainties, our commitment to your student’s learning is stronger than ever.

With our adapted school schedules, the AP District Team knew that we needed to revamp registration for the 2020-2021 school year. We hope that these changes will allow your student time to feel confident in their learning and ready to decide whether they will take the exam by early 2021.

Below is the information you and your student will need to successfully register for and complete AP exams this year.

*Please note that these changes are ONLY for the 2020-2021 school year.*

Looking ahead to May 2021, AP Exams will cover the full course scope and content as designated by AP CollegeBoard. If our school building is closed in May 2021 due to safety concerns, the AP Program will provide a contingency option for AP Exam testing. We expect to know more about this in early 2021.
