Greetings, Titans!

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! Our campus theme is year is "Plan the work, work the plan, and capture the magic!" We have devoted time to project management training this summer and will be sharing what we've learned to ensure our learners are equipped to meet the challenges of project based learning in a highly productive way! As facilitators, we want to instill wonder and curiosity with guiding our learners to be thoughtful about questions that lead to deeper learning experiences. As parents and learners you will experience many "firsts" this year, too: the bittersweetness of the senior year, the first year of high school, the driver's license, the Junior-Senior Prom...so many special memories to be made. We are so excited to be a part of your child's journey!

New Chomebook Use and Maintenance Agreement

Returning Titans and parents may have erroneously received an renewal notification email regarding the Chromebook insurance plan from last year. You should not have been contacted directly by the company, and our PISD Technology Department is reaching out to the company to rectify. We will not utilize the company again and instead will handle these repairs at a campus or district level at a cost to the learner/family according to the estimates as outlined in the agreement you will receive at Chromebook checkout. Typical repairs are broken computer screens, USD port, headphone jack. Replacement of the device will be at a cost to the learner of either $250 or $279 depending on year of issue. A parent may wish to work with their home or other insurance provider to explore the cost of a policy for a lost or stolen Chromebook replacement. You will be provided with the new Agreement at Chromebook checkout with estimated costs delineated.

Be sure to register your club for the Club Fair held at our back to school events on 8/20 and 8/21! You will want to register via this link!
